Cheniere gets approval for La. LNG export terminal expansion
The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission has approved Cheniere Energy's proposal to expand its Sabine Pass liquefied natural gas export terminal in Louisiana. The project seeks to add two more trains to the four-train terminal to boost processing capacity from 2.76 billion cubic feet of LNG per day to 4.14 billion cubic feet per day, according to filings. The company has already reached agreements for the fifth train and is in talks for sale of gas produced from the sixth train, federal records and a Moody's Investors Service report showed. N.J. issues permits for $650M pipeline project

Williams Transco's $650 million, 42-inch pipeline project in New Jersey has received three permits for wetlands and flood hazards from the state's Department of Environmental Protection. The pipeline will be built through an environmentally fragile area, but Williams' mitigation plans and ideas for alternatives were considered satisfactory.
